  • Waterloo Region Record Authors Stage

    Kitchener City Hall’s Rotunda features a dynamic line-up of author readings, signings and discussions. Special guest:  Jian Ghomeshi, host of CBC Radio One's popular national arts magazine show, Q. Click on the tent name to view the schedule.
     

  • Word In The Alley

    Awesome Happens Here!  Check out a unique line-up of comic workshops, local zines, a poetry slam, digital storytelling, literary discussion and more.

  • KPL Tent

    Used book store, demonstrations on eReaders, and information about the renovation and expansion project.
     

    KPL Teen Tent

    Hosted by the Kitchener Public Library.  

Drop by our tent and discover all the great things that are happening for teens at the library.  Help us decorate our “What are you Reading, Kitchener?” poster and get a sneak preview of our annual Teen Read Week Contest  – you won’t want to miss this!

  • KPL Human Library

    Kitchener Public Library has a unique collection of books:  the Human Library.  These books are real people who are volunteering to share their story with you.  The Human Library will ONLY be available at The Word On The Street from 12 noon to 4pm.

  • Heritage Canada Reading Rocks Tent

    Hosted by popular children’s entertainer, Erick Traplin.  Join us for a day of author appearances, make and take crafts, readings by local personalities, face painting and music!
