Latitudes Storytelling Festival hosts an afternoon of edgy storytelling – think outside the books – with word weavers who mix experience and tradition with the arts in imaginative ways. Think spoken word poetry. Think performance. Think music, theatre, digital. More importantly, put your preconceptions about storytelling to the side.
Street Vibe Collective: Three spoken word artists, two singer-songwriters and one drumming family.
Janice Lee: Janice is a Kitchener-Waterloo-based musician, poet, actor, and community organizer.
Aaron Bell: First Nations stories told with emotion and humour.
Alice Lee Monroe: Alice is a Kitchener writer who is currently writing short stories and spoken word poetry.
Dwight Storring: Dwight is a former journalist turned digital media producer and digital storyteller.
