It takes a lot of volunteers to pull off a successful event and we need your skills, energy and enthusiasm to add to our team for 2013. It’s a great opportunity to be part of a major Lethbridge event and contribute to your community.

Early (May-June)

• Author relations
• Some admin support
• Facebookers, and Tweeters needed who are willing to post and share information, write positive Festival blog articles and tweets
• Assist with organizing pre-event promotions
• Take part in promotional event

Mid (June –Aug 15)

• Some admin support needed
• Facebookers, Twitters

Pre-Event (Aug 15 – Sept 22)

• Facebookers, Twitters
• Poster distribution team
• Pre-event site clean up
• Site set up; booths, tents, signage, banners

Festival Day – September 22rd 2013

• Tent set up (need lots of strong bodies)
• Traffic coordinators
• Litter control
• Lost child attendant(s)
• Information
• Performer coordinator
• IT person
• Security
• First Aid/emergency services
• Exhibitor support
• Photographer/Videographer

After hours/Day after

• Clean up
• Tent/booth take down (need lots of strong bodies)
• Return rental equipment

Special  skills

• AV/sound tech to assist
• Flag/traffic  personnel

• First aid
