Deirdre Baker

Deirdre Baker is an adjunct professor at the University of Toronto, where she teaches children’s literature. One of the country’s leading authorities on kid lit, she is co-author of A Guide to Canadian Children’s Books and has published one children’s novel, Becca at Sea. Deirdre’s biweekly Small Print column has appeared in the Star’s book pages since 1998.
