Charlie is an arts educator and children’s rock singer who has played concerts, festivals and schools all across Ontario since 2001.  He performs with a dancer and drummer who jam out live beats and get the crowd singing, dancing and playing percussion.  He teaches primary level curriculum through song with themes focusing on the environment, multiculturalism, nutrition and behavior.  He has created and promoted Community Concert Jams which are public concerts preceded by school songwriting workshops.  Participating students get to jam with Charlie and his band live on a public stage.  Since graduating with an Honors Degree in Theory and Composition from the University of Western Ontario, Charlie has been running a small neighborhood music school that employs piano, guitar and vocal teachers.  Charlie has also designed a group introductory course that teaches piano basics to young children.
