Nick Crowe was born in Montreal and raised in Kingston, Ontario. He worked as a paperboy, dishwasher, psychiatric hospital janitor, laundry worker and guitar player before starting a career in television. He has been writing fiction since childhood but A Cold Night for Alligators is his first novel. Nick lives in Toronto with his wife and young son.
