Tim Harper has been at the Toronto Star for 28 years. He has been a correspondent in Vancouver and Ottawa, the Ottawa bureau chief, six years as Washington correspondent and since January, 2009, national editor.  He also briefly covered the Toronto Blue Jays for the newspaper. He has covered five Canadian federal elections and two U.S. presidential elections, including the historic 2008 election of Barack Obama. Chantal Hébert

Chantal Hébert, Toronto Star political columnist, cut her teeth in politics at Queen’s Park in the late seventies covering the minority governments of Progressive-Conservative premier William Davis. Since then she has reported in French and in English on Canada’s constitutional and referendum wars, the 1988 free-trade debate, as well as the more recent rebirth of the Conservative movement. In addition to her columns, Chantal is a regular member of the CBC’s At Issue panel, broadcast weekly on The National. See her in The Toronto Star Tent at 3:00 with Linda Diebel and Tim Harper.

Natascha Helbig is the Senior Manager of Content at Sony Electronics’ Digital Reading Business Division.  As senior product manager for content, Natascha oversees content acquisition and publisher relations at Sony’s Reader Store.  She is responsible for working with all content providers for Sony’s eBook platform, including large, small, independent and self-publishers. Helen Heller represents an award winning and internationally best selling list, and accepts commercial and literary fiction, specializing in crime fiction. Her career in publishing began in London, England where she worked for Cassell & Co. After immigrating to Canada, she was Senior Editor for Avon Books and Editor-in-Chief for Fitzhenry & Whiteside. Jessica Holmes

Peter Howell

Peter Howell is the movie critic for the Toronto Star, Canada's largest daily newspaper. Howell is a member of the Broadcast Film Critics Association (BFCA).He also contributes to thestar.com website and to TVOntario's Saturday Night at the Movies show. Prior to movies, Howell was the Star's pop music critic. He has been in the Star's Entertainment department since 1991. He was one of the first journalists in North America to begin a regular Internet column, which debuted in January, 1995, under its original title CyberPop.
