Richard Thake - Adopt this Author

Portrait of Richard Thake

Author Richard Thake will read from Sir Seth Thistlethwaite and the Soothsayer’s Shoes, a dizzy, delightful series debut, which is based on his own childhood adventures in the Don River Valley and The Beach areas of Toronto. See him in the Children’s Reading Tent at 1:00.

Elizabeth Todd Doyle - Adopt this Author

Transplanted from Canada's west coast to Ottawa, Elizabeth regularly doodles on shopping lists, the back of phone bills, and on the margins of Very Important Documents such as her children's report cards. When she is not doodling, she designs education programs for galleries and museums, where she encourages children to play with art. Elizabeth's work has appeared in comic books and text books nationally and internationally. She has a thing for gremlins, witches, and surprised animals.
