John Vaillant

John Vaillant is the author of The Golden Spruce, which won the Governor General’s Literary Award for Non-Fiction. He has also written for The New Yorker, The Atlantic and The Walrus. The Tiger: A True Story of Vengeance and Survival has won BC’s National Award for Canadian Non-Fiction, BC Book Prize's Hubert Evans Non-Fiction Prize, and the Canadian Booksellers Association Libris Award - Non-fiction Book of the Year.
