Over the years, The Word On The Street Vancouver has played host to all manner of authors. We are proud to welcome more than 100 authors, illustrators and panelists for the 2011 festival, including:

Rob Taylor is the co-founder of One Ghana, One Voice, Ghana’s first online poetry magazine. In 2004 he also co-founded SFU’s student poetry zine, High Altitude Poetry.
Timothy Taylor is the winner of the Journey Prize. His book Stanley Park was the ‘One Book One City’ selection for Vancouver and was on the shortlist for the Giller Prize. The Blue Light Project was listed as one of the National Post’s Most Anticipated Books of 2011.
Shirley Jean Tucker works as a theatre director and playwright in the Okanagan. The Amazing Foot Race of 1921 celebrates five Canadians who hiked from Halifax to Vancouver along the CPR tracks and is her first non-fiction book.
